A few unique things about you:
As an outgoing person I enjoy socialising with my industry peers. I have a wife and 3 kids and live in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
I believe I am a great business man because I have strong values when it comes to Service Delivery and Integrity.
What book has most influenced you and why?
“Who Moved My Cheese” by Spencer Johnson.
This book is very relevant to the life we live nowadays. It has taught me as a business man that I must be open to new ideas, similarly I must never resist change.
As a business person I must always be on the lookout for new ideas and have an open mind to the way business is done to stay relevant. Innovation is the key to success for any business.
Which person influences you the most and why?
Mike Teke.
Here is a man that built himself up from working as an employee at BHP Billiton to becoming the owner of the very same mine he was once employed at.
Who is your favourite sports star and why?
Caster Semenya.
After all the torment and criticism she goes through, she is still number one and breaking records.
If you were stuck on an island, what 3 apps would you want to have on your phone?
Firstly, I would have my Banking App, then I would have a business linkage app and finally I would have a shopping app for food delivery.
What impact has this programme had for you?
I will change the way I manage money and my spend on the business account. I will start assessing the risks of business and deciding what business is worth taking and what is worth declining. The programme has been productive, useful and meaningful.
